Annihilation of caste Part IV and V
Here you will find a summary of the fourth and fifth parts of Annihilation of Caste.
In which Babasaheb discusses the things done
by the defenders of the caste system in defense of the caste system and give
their argument.
As Babasaheb explains in the fourth part, the
defenders of the caste system have described the caste system as a
characteristic of a civilized society. And in the fifth part, how the defenders
of the caste system have told the caste system to be scientific, but Babasaheb
proves it unscientific by their logic.
Part-IV
Caste is not
just a division of labor, rather it is a division of laborers

There are still defenders of the caste system and they argue that there is nothing wrong with this system as it is another name for the division of labor, and as we know, division of labor is a feature of every civilized society.
But in reality, the caste system is not just a division of labor, rather it is a division of laborers and this system is quite different from the division of labor. As against, it is a hierarchy in which the division of labor is classified one above the other. Such unnatural division of labor does not take place in any civilized society
And also, your occupation in this system is not determined by your abilities but by the social status of your parents.
If you are not satisfied with your occupation and want to change it then according to this system you will not be able to change your occupation, because this system does not allow you to change your occupation. And so, you have to be in your occupation which is assigned by this system.
Part-V
Race cannot
preserve non-existent "racial purity"
The defenders of the caste system say that the purpose of caste is to maintain the purity of the race and the purity of the blood. But according to ethnologists, pure race men are not found anywhere in the world, but a mixture of all races is found in other parts of the world.
In particular, this case is wholly applicable to the people of India, which can be pointed out by Mr. D. R. Bhandarkar's research paper (Foreign Elements in the Hindu Population), in which he said, "There are hardly any class or caste in India, in which there is no foreign strain. Not only among the Rajputs and Marathas, but also among the Brahmins, there is an admixture of foreign blood, who are under the illusion that they are free from all foreign elements.
The caste system neither prevents the racial purity of castes nor maintains the purity of blood. This system came into existence after many years of mixing of blood and culture of different castes of India. Also, this system is not a system of separation of men according to blood or race, rather it is a social division of people of the same race.
In addition, heredity and eugenics are used in defense of this caste system. But this system of caste does not follow the laws of eugenics,

Because it fails to explain how the caste system secures judicious mating. If the caste is eugenics in origin then the origin of the sub-castes must be eugenics, but according to the caste system the origin of the sub-castes is not eugenics. And, it also prohibits intermarriage among different castes.
Since inter dining cannot infect blood, the race can neither deteriorate nor improve. Despite that, it also prohibits inter dining. This shows that caste has no scientific origin.
The caste system also does not follow the laws of heredity. To understand this, let's consider Mendel's theories of heredity, which states, "There is nothing in the descent of the higher psychic qualities to suggest that they follow any one system of transmission. It is likely that they both have more marked development, physical forces result from a combination of many factors not by possession of a single genetic element."

"If the caste is eugenic in nature what kind of male caste it should have produced? Physically the Hindus should have been C3 people. They would have been a caste of Dwarfs. It would have been a nation in which 9/10 of the population would have been unfit for military service."
This shows that the caste system is not based on the eugenics of modern scientists as these traits are not found in the population of India. It is a social system which is a symbol of the arrogance and selfishness of a perverted section of Hindus.
After
reading all this we can say that caste system neither does division of labor
nor is scientific. This is only such a system in which people of the same race
are divided in the name of caste, and discrimination is done with them.
